T-Mobile Frozen Yogurt Airstream

The Challenge:
Retrofit and install a 27’ airstream trailer into the tenth floor of T-Mobile’s corporate offices in one piece and through an 8’ tall opening.
The Solution:
BMD located a vintage airstream trailer in Billings, MT, restored it to its original exterior state, and retrofitted the interior for use as a frozen yogurt cart. They then constructed a 10’ x 30’ metal sled to hoist the retrofitted trailer ten stories to its new location. Working alongside an experienced crane operator, to pick the trailer in-between two buildings, the team was able to slowly lift and feather the trailer onto the tenth floor balcony and through the opening to it’s new location.
